33-year-old Saul Gore from Manchester is taking on a personal challenge with a very special purpose.
Support The Focus Foundation
Changing Lives Together
On Sunday 4th October, Saul will be running the Manchester Half Marathon to raise vital funds for The Focus Foundation.
A proud Mancunian and passionate Manchester United fan, Saul is no stranger to setting himself goals. After graduating from university with a degree in Accountancy, he has built a successful career and currently works as a Lead Data Analyst at JD Sports. Outside of work, Saul's two biggest passions are football and his two gorgeous children, Heidi and Jacob. But this October, he'll be swapping the football pitch for the streets of Manchester as he takes on the 13.1-mile challenge in support of a charity that is particularly close to home.
Saul's dad, Tony, works for The Focus Foundation and was the person who first suggested that Saul take on the challenge. "When my dad suggested I take part in the marathon and raise funds for Focus, I jumped at the opportunity. Dad is so passionate about his work and the charity, and the impact they have on members of our community. I want to be a part of that."
With his training underway, Saul is looking forward to race day and to taking on the challenge alongside the thousands of other runners taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon.
If you would like to support Saul and help him reach his fundraising target for The Focus Foundation, please consider making a donation.
